BOPHUTHATSWANA

Back in the early 90's, I think I was 5/6 or even younger, when my siblings and aunts & uncles who used to sings this anthem ya Bophuthatswana.I so wanted to know it and what it meant but I just knew the 1st two lines and tht was just it.
It used to be a great moment in my gran'ma's house when ever this anthem was being talked about or recited. Some were told to be still and not move any part of their body exceot their mouth, that even when a Fly can land on ur nose u shouldnt move a bit, because it was the former Bophuthatswana national anthem & symbolised their culture and heritage.
During assembly ko Bultfontein Primary school, Ko Fafung,(Arguably was one of the most progressive& highly educational institution during those time, i said was coz nou eish i dnt know much about gore e dira jang academivally)They used to sing this anthem and some time wish i was born earlier and be able to say I heard sang that song ko Skolong, but i only started my primary schooling ka 1996, thats when Mandela was President and apertheid ne e fedile nako ego.

Some of them were liking it some didnt. But It was a great moment a nd pride they had when ever reminiscing about such, and now recently This anthem was playing in my heard & I thought I should know the whole of it from now on.,but eish ke tshabetse ke tune ya teng..

Im Proud ka our former homeland & what it stood for during apartheid.Ke Lefatshe la ga Rre.
